THE CITY'S GOSPEL
We are a team of photojournalists that are committed to inviting those we meet on the street to feel known, loved, and heard by initiating conversation and asking intentional questions about the experiences that have built their idea of God.
We use the art of photojournalism to represent the imago Dei in hopes to invite our online viewers into an understanding of the story behind the image. It’s our hope that posting this content will propel evangelism revitalization in Christian culture by communicating the idea that you too can initiate these conversations that you have the power to speak truth and break strongholds.
We’re equally passionate about building up and creating community amongst our team of students because we understand the importance of unity and wish to not only love those we meet outside of our walls but love each other well within them. Thank you for following along
Bridging gaps and stirring compassion by bringing to light the experiences of everyday people through photojournalism for the advancement of the gospel.
When Ali moved to the city, she was inspired to start this project because of her constant curiosity and her love for people. She wanted to know the people she passed by every day and to know what they thought about the Gospel. Her curiosity and gospel-driven passion lead her to buy a website, get rejected a few too many times and start the conversation.
What started as a quiet solo project, quickly became a ministry opportunity for her fellow students and Ali found herself as the Director of TCG. The City's Gospel officially launched on November 4, 2017. Ali's heart is to encourage, equip and empower this generation, her friends, to do the work of the saint; to become the evangelist.
Ali is the graphic designer and content creator of the website
